How fast, measured
- Each search is checked as often as every 30 seconds.
- Half of new listings reached a feed within 3.6 minutes of going up, and 9 in 10 within 4.3, across 329,820 listings.
- 372,053 new listings read and 337,828 cards made, 8,480 of them rated Buy or Review.
From our own logs, Oct 16 to Oct 23, 2026 (7 days). The time runs from when eBay says a listing went up to its card in the feed, and most of it is eBay adding the listing to its search.
One feed for every hunt.
Anything you’d type into eBay’s search box.
A leather couch, sneakers in your size, an old hand plane, a LEGO set still in its box. New or used, Buy It Now or auction.

How it works.
Save your searches once, with no app and no eBay password, and the new listings come to you.

Save your searches
Type what you’d type into eBay’s search box and press Enter, then pick new or used, Buy It Now or auction. You get 10 searches, in any category. A checklist on your feed asks you to start with three, since a narrow one can go a long while between new listings.

New listings come to you
We check each search as often as every 30 seconds. Each new listing becomes a card with its photo, title, price, shipping and rating, newest first. These pictures show Cards: Expanded, which adds the reason and, when we can price it, the value.

Get the alert where you are
Your searches start on one email a day, the first within about an hour of signing up. Switch to Discord for new listings as they come, or only the deals, and your feed keeps every card.
You don’t have to watch the feed.
Every search starts with one email a day. Switch it to Discord and new listings come at once.
A listing we rate a Pass never alerts you. A Buy or Review alert in Discord or email says why. Set it for any search: every new listing or only the deals, on Discord or in one email a day, or off. The feed keeps every card either way. A search on email or set to off runs for 12 hours after you last open a listing or add a search, and one on Discord never stops.

When we can price it, we rate the deal.
Everything else still reaches you, marked Unrated.
If we can tell exactly what a listing is, like a set number, a card, a model or the metal and its weight, we price it on what the same thing sold for, or on its metal value. The card then says Buy, Review or Pass. A Pass isn’t a deal, and the card says why. It stays in your feed and never alerts you.
Buy Under your max buy
The price with shipping is under your max buy, which starts at 85% of the value. You can change it.

Review Something to check
It could be a deal, but something needs your eyes first. The card names each thing to check, and you decide.

Unrated Still alerted
We don’t price this kind of listing yet. Your feed still gets every new one, with its photo and price.

What we rate
- LEGO sets, by set number
- Watches, by brand and model
- Silver, gold, platinum and palladium, by weight and purity mark
- Trading cards and sports cards
- Knives, by maker and model
What sends a card to Review
- No weight in the listing
- Priced off similar sales, a set’s used or all-condition sales, or asking prices
- “Silver” that may be a colour, brand or finish, not the metal
- Plated or filled, not solid metal
- Several items under one price
- Seller feedback under 94%, or fewer than 3 ratings
- Sold for parts, or a part without the whole
- A box, band or papers that may come without the watch
- A knock-off, reprint or homage named in the title
- An opened, resealed or searched box
- An auction, where the price is only the bid so far
Every Review card names its reasons.

How fast are the alerts?
Each search is checked as often as every 30 seconds, and about every 2 minutes when many searches share the day's eBay limit; slower only if that limit runs short. Over the 7 days to Oct 23, 2026, half of all cards reached the feed within 3.6 minutes of when eBay says the listing went up, and 9 in 10 within 4.3 minutes (329,820 listings). Most of that time is eBay adding a new listing to its search.
What can I search for?
Anything you’d type into eBay’s search box: a couch, sneakers in your size, a tool, a record, a LEGO set, a ring. Pick new or used, and add auctions if you want them. Each new listing that matches becomes a card in your feed. All but a Pass go in your daily email, or come at once if you switch a search to Discord.
Can I narrow a search?
Yes. Each search has its own filters: a price range, a shipping cap or free shipping only, words to leave out, a seller feedback floor, a minimum number of seller ratings, sellers to block, and Best Offer only. You can add eBay’s own item filters too, like a category or a shoe size. A filter drops only what a listing clearly fails: if eBay doesn’t give the shipping or the seller’s rating, the card still comes.
Which searches get a deal rating?
LEGO sets; watches; silver, gold, platinum and palladium; trading cards and sports cards; knives. Every other search still alerts you to new listings, marked Unrated.
What does Review mean?
It could be a deal, but something needs your eyes first: no weight; a value from similar sales, a set’s used or all-condition sales, or asking prices; “silver” that may be a colour, brand or finish; plating; several items under one price; seller feedback under 94% or fewer than 3 ratings; a part sold without the whole; a box, band or papers that may come without the watch; a knock-off, reprint or homage; an opened box; or an auction, where the price is only the bid so far. The card names each one that applies, so you check those and decide.
How is the value worked out?
When we know exactly what it is, from recent sales of the same thing: the same sealed set, card, model or watch, or for silver, gold, platinum and palladium, from the weight and the purity mark. With less to go on, a card is priced off similar sales, a set’s used or all-condition sales, or asking prices, says so, and is never a Buy. It’s an estimate, not an appraisal.
What are Today’s buy alerts?
A strip above your searches: up to 24 of the newest listings flagged as a buy in the last 24 hours, each with its photo, price and eBay link. They come from our own searches, not yours, so your max buy doesn’t apply. Close it and it stays closed in that browser until the next day.
Do you need my eBay password?
No. InstaSnipe never signs in to eBay as you. Each card links to the listing, and you buy it on eBay the usual way.
How do I sign in?
With your email and a password, or with a one-time link we email you. Try it free emails you a link to confirm your address, and its page lets you choose a password. Skip it and you sign in with emailed links; you can set a password later on your Account page.
Will I get flooded with alerts?
New accounts start on one email a day, with up to 40 cards, deals first, and a count of the rest in your feed. Switch a search to Discord and it alerts on each new listing except a Pass. On a very busy search that’s at most 20 an hour, with the rest in your feed. That cap counts only plain new-listing alerts, never a Buy or Review. You can also set a search to deals only, or pause it.
When does the daily email come?
The first comes within about an hour of signing up, if your searches have found something by then. After that it comes once a day at 13:00 UTC, never more than one a day, and a day with nothing new sends no email.
Do my searches stop if I stay away?
Only if you stop opening what they find. Every search starts on one email a day, and runs for 12 hours after you last open a listing (in the feed or from an email) or add a search, on email or set to off; one on Discord never stops. Each starts again the next time you open a listing or add a search. Your feed counts down the hours left.
Does it use AI?
The plan runs no AI model. It reads listings with fixed rules and sales data. Three things come from our own searches, which can use AI: Today’s buy alerts; the Detailed analysis line some cards carry, which describes the piece; and a weight marked scale photo, read off a scale in the listing’s photos.
Can other members see my searches?
No. Your searches and your feed are private to your account.
Will it stay free?
It’s free while we launch, and we haven’t set a price for after that. We’ll email you at least 14 days before anything changes, and you can stop using it at any time.
